The countdown to the Universiade has reached zero, fulfilling the three-year promise of youth! From July 28th to August 8th, 2023, the 31st World University Games will be held in Chengdu. The splendid and colorful opening and closing ceremonies, the resounding cheers of "Go, Chengdu!" echo in sports venues such as Dong'an Lake Sports Center and Phoenix Mountain Sports Center. University athletes from around the world swiftly converge in Chengdu, where high temperatures collide with youthful energy, igniting the entire city.

Environmental sustainability is one of the goals of this Universiade, and as an integral part of the transportation support team, Zhongzhi Yike has produced 263 pure electric buses for event-related transportation, serving as media and event vehicles. Additionally, 649 buses are deployed for urban transportation, providing convenient access for citizens to enjoy the games and ensuring a successful and exciting youth event.

To achieve the goal of "zero accidents" in vehicle operations, "zero delays" in event support, and "zero complaints" in high-quality service, Zhongzhi Yike has developed the "Chengdu Universiade Vehicle After-Sales Service Guarantee Plan." A dedicated team for Universiade service support has been established, led by the company's general manager, Meng Guang, as the head of the project leadership group. The technical support group is led by Zhang Zejun, the dean of the Research Institute, and the on-site service group is headed by Xu Song, the director of the After-Sales Service Department. The entire After-Sales Service Department is fully deployed to promptly address any vehicle issues or difficulties.

In order to respond quickly and improve service speed, two 12-ton emergency rescue trailers and three Universiade service vehicles have been allocated. With 24-hour uninterrupted service, they work together to ensure the smooth operation of the vehicles.

They sacrifice the opportunity to watch the games and brave the scorching heat to stand their ground at important service points such as the Jiaozi Maintenance Plant, Dong'an Lake, and the Universiade Village. While athletes compete on the field, these managers silently but steadfastly build a strong network of vehicle support. Even as night falls, their presence can still be found in every corner of the parking lots, carefully inspecting each vehicle's parameters, conducting specialized safety checks, and serving the Universiade with their practical efforts and unwavering commitment.

On August 3rd, 2023, Service Manager Wang Yongyin was honored with the title of "Daily Star" in the transportation support service. Building a scientific after-sales service system is crucial to withstand the challenges. Emphasis has been placed on technical training, and the training of maintenance workers at the repair plant was completed by the end of May. A compilation of "Common Troubleshooting Methods for Drivers" has been provided.

Service managers are equipped with professional testing instruments and tools. Regular spare parts are deployed and reserved at the service points, and emergency plans for temporary and urgent spare parts are developed in collaboration with suppliers. Meanwhile, the company provides various heatstroke prevention and cooling drugs to the service managers, ensuring their well-being and allowing them to fully devote themselves to their work. During the Universiade support period, a total of 566 vehicle safety inspections were completed.

With a 12-day competition and three months of preparation, Zhongzhi Yike's solid quality in vehicle manufacturing, rooted in the field of new energy buses for over a decade, has earned praise from the organizing committee and all the citizens of Chengdu.
